In this article, we present our courses, which are necessary for the development of the project.
from October 16, 2017 to October 20, 2017
Each of us has determined a personal training plan, including between 80 and 130 hours of classes. Those courses can be taught in other school options (for example: computer science, virtual reality, management of information systems) and also interventions planned exclusively for us by teachers of the school or external speakers.
A group of students chose this week to attend object-oriented programming classes, led by Morgan Magnin, one of our supervising professors. It is about being able to represent objects and their relations to transcribe the elements of reality in virtual form. Object-oriented programming will be indispensable when it comes to developing the virtual simulator of our smart home using the Unity software.
Meanwhile, several students attended courses of the Management of Digital Business and Information Technologies option, taught in English at Audencia Business School. The first courses introduced many data visualization tools and data processing software. In November will begin a change management course related to the introduction of information systems in society.
The project is moving ahead! We have received feedback from companies ready to work with us on the physical simulator, and the modeling of the virtual simulator continues. See you next week for further progress!
