Thomas Lechevallier

Thomas Lechevallier, of the university hospital of Nantes, is the director of the smart home for health project. He is a major player in the implementation of the digital hospital on the Île de Nantes. Indeed, Thomas Lechevallier is director of the Ulysse project, which got underway in 2016, with the launch of the Cerner Millennium® solution: digital healthcare services through the computerization of patient files, from prescription to the connection of medical devices and access to the patient's file with a smartphone.

On September 7th, Thomas Lechevallier came to present the project. He described the issues surrounding the digital hospital, and the benefits of a smart home for health. Head of the "Applications and Projects" Division of the Digital Services Department of the University Hospital of Nantes, he is aware of the future boom of connected objects in the health sector, and wants the hospital to position itself for that. In his view, IT and industry have to work closer together, and he gave us many examples of companies we can work with.

We give him regular briefings about our progress. He expresses his wishes and provides advice about the final rendering of the project. He is always there to support us and take the project further, by providing the resources and contacts that we need.
