Philippe Aumont

Philippe Aumont is one of our major supports in conducting our smart house for health project. Indeed, he plays the role of industrial coach. With extensive experience in project management and industry, he advises us on our project milestones, and shapes our thinking.

After graduating from Centrale Nantes in 1977, he began his career in industrial production. Then, he worked in the automotive sector, and was particularly interested in security issues. Thus he participated in the development of a "connected seat for health", equipped with sensors controlling various physiological and psychological parameters of the passenger. Since 1998, he has been part of the Faurecia group.

We met him for the first time on September 12, at the start of our project. He explained to us what project management means, what are the main steps and processes. It is also thanks to the brainstorming session that day that we defined the three deliverables
of our project: the physical simulator, the digital simulator and the report. Since then, we provide him with a progress update each week. He stimulates our thinking with new direction and advises us on the completion of tasks.
